I love looking through online slideshows for ideas on decorating my home. While I was looking at the 2009 HGTV Green Home I kept noticing mirrors, art, nested boxes and lamps from Stray Dog Designs. In this picture you can see the Miami Mirror, Bright Colored Hat Boxes, and the Tulip Tree Lamp. If you take the tour online you will also see 2 other floor lamps as well as a Love bird from Stray Dog Designs just in this kids room alone! I'm so excited to offer these new items because they are products that my daughter has worn in her first year of life, that are sooo handy and cute!

Babylegs has just started a new line of leg warmers for summer time. They are called Babylegs Cool! (Yes that's right it has an exclamation mark after the cool.) Anyway, they have UV blockers in it and they have little holes throughout the material so that they can breath and not be hot. I believe they will cost a little more since it has the UV blocking technology. It's a small price to pay for all that style though!

I just started selling those funky rain boots made by Plueys and they gave a special sale so that I have the lowest price on the Matchpoint boots. Yes, even cheaper than what they sell it for on their site.

I just bought this pair of shoes for my baby girl. If they pass the busy little baby test then we will be adding them to our store. Hopefully in time for Christmas! Have a great thanksgiving.

I've enjoyed the compliments that my daughter gets when she wears this funky fabric flower hair clip. It's a nice alternative to the silk flower headbands that you see everywhere.

I just added these products today so check them out! Beanies are $14 each, (all the other boutiques are selling them for $16.) These coveralls are great for that busy kid who is always getting dirty or just likes to work outside with dad. A friend of mine is planning on giving her husband a picture of her daughter and son wearing these for his father's day present. Such a great idea. I think it's safe to say that he won't be reading this blog!

Thought of the day:
If your baby is a little constipated forget the warm bath and baby massage. Simply put your baby in the nicest white clothes and place them in their car seat for a day of shopping and running errands and you are sure to have that baby poop!

So I told you that I added these products already but let me tell you a little more about them. Yes they are great to put on your skin because they have natural products unlike Johnson & Johnson, Aveeno, etc but they also are great for the environment. They came up with a new concept called "Green Mail" where it has all the mailing info on the bottle so that you can just drop it in the mail and it goes back to Babywise. One less baby lotion container in the landfills!

I recently sent out a newsletter about all the new products that I’ve been adding to my site. If you didn’t receive that email then visit my store and click on the “New Items” category to check that out. Here’s a few photos of those products…

It’s like Christmas at my house when a delivery of products comes. I just received my shipment from Knuckleheads and Hula Mula so I will be adding those clothes and beanies to my site shortly. Grey Cords for boys, skinny jeans for girls, mechanic coveralls, and houndstooth beanies will appear after I get some nice photos of them.
Here’s a random thought for the you: To figure out what grade a child is in you can usually take the age then subtract it by 5. Example: A child that is 7 (minus 5=2) is in the 2nd grade. This of course is not scientific and will differ depending on the child’s b-day and their school history so don’t hold me to the effectiveness! This is a blog right, expect the unexpected here.

Gift registry

Many don't notice that we have a gift registry available on our site so I wanted to dedicate my first blog to this asset. I love that we can offer this at our boutique because there aren't many places that you can register for organic clothes, bpa-free baby bottles and pacifiers, and unique baby clothes.
